Well that's as maybe Dave, I have read from multiple sources that the DM does have a less than pleasant reputation. Please don't mistake my scorn about it as a personal slight on its readership.

Ah, I'm glad you ask Sipowicz *not* the Guardian ! (Well maybe occasionally).
I am a firm believer that all of them are biased and twist the truth to a greater or letter degree so I rarely buy any newspaper for this reason.
I pick up the Metro when coming back from London but only because there's always one lying around. Sometimes I buy The Independant mainly because I like its crossword. One of my housemates is a Daily Bogroll advocate so I sometimes have a glance to see if it's as awful as it normally is then take the p!ss out of him for buying it :-)
