That breach between No2 and No3 cylinder on the knackered head gasket looks well scorched.

there was a lot of water the head but hubby knew to stop driving it to prevent further damage. Theres alot we were not told about the car when we bought it despite our asking ashed load of in depth questions.
Where does it need welding ?.

usual disco places, wheel arches, sills, wings and boot floor. Window rubbers also perished in places.
Whens the next MOT ?.

January 13 hun but we are now having to wait till the end of august to get the metal sheets needed to do the repairs as the head gasket and fuel manafold gasket took this months project funds.
Well at least you have time on your side.

hmm series 200 disco, watch what you pay for over all repairs, it can end up costing more than the car is worth.

I know we have to be careful and limit what we are prepared to pay for repairs, which is why we barter mechanical assitance for baby sitting birthday cakes gardening etc.
