We have just sold our sons car and the person who bought it said they had tried loads of insurances but ended up with Diamond, it was the most reasonable.Might not be for you but worth looking into.
Preferably none of them - they are all the same group - EUI Limited. They also manage confused.com grrrrrrrr. They are notably the 'cheapies' but each have more than their fair share of complaints on the Internet. Getting to resolve an issue is a nightmare (personal experience). You can do much better by looking around.

Oh dear - they have come out the best - Tesco (who my daughter has been with for 4 years) quoted £621 - the others are around £370!!
I have no experience with either of these companies,Myself and son are both with Aviva. My son is 19 and was quoted £800 mine is just £205 but I have been driving for over 23 years.Others quoted my son up to £2000 and more.

Wow thats mad - my daughter is 22 with 5 years no claims so is much easier for her now.
Have you tried Sheila's wheels? I am 59 but every year their quote for me is the best.
I hate the advert but Go Compare have always come up with the cheapest quote for me .
Don't forget DirectLine, who don't pay to use the comparison sites.

Also, get the best quote you can, then look out for ads which promise to beat any quote - you should be able to get at least another £20 off.

I like Moneysupermarket as a first place to try for many things - http://www.moneysuper...et.com/car-insurance/
Admiral is one of those companies that ask for your details, then sell them on to other companies. Avoid, unless you like spam and loads of junk mail.

Go Compare is a nightmare as I am a named driver on my daughters policy. I have put I work part time and its insisting I put a fulltime occupation too - arghhhhhhh
I went to adrian flux they were really cheap
I'm having the same probs as 888sally888. I don't fit into the 'normal' criteria, so usually get stuck halfway through forms. Advice on here says go to a broker which I'm going to try shortly. I just wanted to get my facts ready first.
