I know less about genetics than I'd like to think but do you mean "identify the following protein" ?

It's way too short to be a gene (I think) -these can be hundreds or thousands of "letters" long.
Go here to find amino acids and their DNA codons http://www.cbs.dtu.dk/courses/27613/codon.html . Find out the amino acid sequence then use the single letter code for each amino acid to get the message.
