Use scrunched up tin foil. I know it sounds odd, but it really does work. (It also removes rust from chrome.)
The yellow duster cloths are ideal (very gentle ) I just use this cloth dipped in a weak solution of fairy liquid and water, then buff up with a dry one!
vinegar
Use the vinegar which is commonly use and also have en effective result.
