I have a Samsung S8000 and lately the predictive text has gone haywire.

When I type in the word "me" I get....O3,od, of, oe, then "me"
" " " " "no" ....66, om,Oo,oo,on, then "no".

It seems to have suddenly gone back to front. Does anyone know what's gone wrong and how I can get it back to give me selections, alphabetically? TIA.

Could be anything including a fault.

One thing to try and which I've experienced on my phone is whether the language setting hasn't changed itself from English to something else.

If all else fails try to find a "return to default settings" option as a last resort.
