I bought a pair of the above from the reduced bit of the fish counter at morrisons and plan to have them for dinner tomorrow night once they have defrosted.

What shall I have with them? Im looking for something a little more inspiring that brocolli and new potatos.

Thanks!

Isn't it a dance step, Boxy?

"doseydo with your cod"

Reported! This is a sexual practice even I have not heard of.
ROFL mike, first time for ages I've laughed so much...!!
You could toss your new pots in a little pesto and fry up some slice courgette, maybe with a drizzle of balsamic.
...wiping my eyes, still..... yes eccles, we like to do that with courgettes, and a little fried onion - lovely.
Boxtops, I do hope you're not reading too much into the first part of my post......
Oops, sorry Boxtops just read rest of thread.... :-)
Slice courgettes 1/4" thick, sprinkle with salt and cover them. Leave for 45 minutes, then throw them away. Have the brocolli and new potatoes.
I've got some salmon swirls. I think we'll be having them with asparagus, apache potatoes and maybe buttered spinach.
Spotted some fresh peas (in pods) in the shops - they would be lovely with the swirls.

Perhaps a warm potato salad with some chives and maybe soured cream 50/50 with the mayo?
