I think it must be my age, I used to be a great muti tasker, but now I seem to start everywhere and finish nowhere, I used to be able to feed the baby, cook the dinner and darn the socks all at the same time, but now I find the bed half made, the hoovering half done and the forms I started filling in abandoned under a pile of ironing that I started the day before, am I alone in this or is anyone else out there as bad?

Wonderful thing about multitasking is that one always has an excuse for not finishing anything. I use it all the time. Truth to tell I get bored easily. Actually achieve more by trying to do more than two things at once. Doing only one thing I reward myself with half an hour reading a book after 10 minutes working.

thanks tenrec, I do manage to finish a bottle of wine if nothing else, but this morning I made a cup of coffee, then put it down to answer the phone then
could'nt find it anywhere, found it when I came back from the shops, in the fridge!!
Oh Cecil, I've given up tea and coffee. Lost more cups round the house and in the garden than I care to mention!!
I dare not ask this question on here as I thought I was the only one. I relate to most of your answers in fact could be them all. My answer to myself is there is always another day as no one will shift the dust or the pile of ironing or the weeds in garden they will still be there in fact they will acumminate .Well there's always another day.
Forgot to add that a bottle of wine is always finished and I should have said accumulate
I think it was Quentin Crisp said that dust only builds up to a certain height and then gets no deeper. Mine is about there now.
I'm so pleased that you have asked this question because now I have found out there are others like this, I don't feel so guilty.
Tenrec that is so weird that you quoted Quentin Crisp saying that as I was thinking of that quote this morning when I was thinking of doing a bit of dusting, so I decided to leave it to see if it's true :-)

I feel so much better now I know what good company I'm in, and a PLUS, I found a shirt at the bottom of the ironing pile that my dear one accused me of putting in the charity bag last month, also there was a chair under there as well, I am now going to open a nice bottle of Pinot Blanc, and hope to finish it before bedtime, cheers all.
If I start something I like to fini
