I know that he isn't a good singer but the song is one that carries a nice sentimental message. I like the version with the Fron Male Choir but I couldn't find it.

He's a good all round entertainer and a very clever and talented personality IMO.
He's also a person who is true to himself - no phoneyness, totally open with his emotions. He was one of my childhood heroes and it's a pleasure for me to have got to know him.
Good old Rolf, I'm glad he's still out there doing his stuff !
...and a huge kick up the bottom to Lenny Henry for being so rude to him.

He's an old guy - but he just keeps going.

Lenny Henry is a big bully. Imagine picking on Rolf - that's like kicking a puppy.

There aren't many 'real' people out there are there? Never been the same since I found out that Lassie was a boy.
LOL - yes indeed, like kicking a puppy in the *b*llocks* into a vat of sulphuric acid !
Check this out for a mood lifter :-)

A bit on the cheerful side for this time of day - but I would imagine that Rolf at one of the festivals would be very entertaining.

How goes the job? I have never worked for a living - I was a civil servant for 24years and 33days until my being Bipolar was interfering with my sanity. :-)

I think that I will go and write up my cat's blog entry for the day!
Thanks for asking - the job is a means to an end and I eagerly await 'proper' work. I have a couple of 'proper' jobs in the offing this month, could do with more.
I've had a few bi-polar friends so have a rough idea what it's like, I hope you've managed to find a coping strategy - sorry if 'Fine Day' has come to you at a chilled moment, I'm a bit hyper atm !
Say hello to pusscat from me.

hyper is something that I understand. I was diagnosed in 1997 and managed to keep working until 2003. I just wander through life from one day to another and hope that tomorrow is better than today.

I take it that the 'proper' work is the festival/music stuff - I hope that you get something sorted out. A regular income is a nice thing. :-)

I better go - the lion cubs are getting restless. Night.
