I have a vinyl album that I want to convert into an MP3 file are there any shops or businesses that would be able to do this?

I would check yellow pages in your area for computer maintenance shops. Assuming you have a record player deck you can do it yourself if you download the free software Audacity. To save as MP3 you also need to download the free add-in called LAME.

I tried this a few years ago and found it to be such a hassle. In the end it was simpler to repurchase the albums on cd from ebay or as an mp3 download.
