I have just used a dry powder inhaler for the first time. Can anyone tell me if I should have felt the powder being released when I inhaled, as I didn't? I don't want to try it again and end up doubling the dose. Thanks.

No, you would not be aware of it. As long as you exhaled completely before you pressed it, then drew it in as you pressed the thingy and held it for 10 seconds you will be OK.
I have been given Rilast Turbuhaler by my Doctor too. I do not notice the powder either, but I have nothing to press, I just have to inhale. I got my Spanish friend to read the instructions. Did you notice you are supposed to rinse out your mouth after each inhalation?
