We were in Camden last night, where the standard footwear seems to be BOOTS ... all sorts of boots.

The standard footwear here is ... well, it's that time of year, and flip flops are back.

If you walk into town, and you're not wearing flip flops, you look a bit odd ... like you got off the train at the wrong station.

The air is filled with the sound of fwap fwap fwap ...

I love it.

This is national, yes? (except for Camden).

And wouldn't it feel slimey?
Doesn't seem to have affected any of mine in the last few years, and nope, not a bit slimy.
I'm with JJ - Skechers 'Tantric Fray' flip flops, so comfy! Fabric 'post' was a little stiff for a while but now they are very nice and can walk all day in them. Got another pair waiting to start when my current ones get condemned...

Is there an upward age limit to wearing flip flops? In other words at what age do you look daft wearing them, especially women? Or doesn't it matter as long as you don't keep falling over, or out of them even:-(
I'm nearly 55 and would wear them with my maxi dresses if I could bit of an aging hippy at times
