Another great puzzle from the mathematical master ! Solved all the down clues first, then the acrosses. Then it was great fun cutting and glueing little "dice" to get the answer - thanks Oyler ! Enjoy all the great sport this weekend folks !!

Making a steady bid for the second Friday club. Gridfill easy enough and mostly accomplished in a surreal Swedish pub in Marylebone at the weekend. Process of disentangling nets rather more taxing though found pictures of possible nets on the web to help eliminate. Now in search of some sugar cubes to customise for the assembly bit. As with others this week I have great admiration for Oyler and his skill in creating this one.
Must have been a devilishly hard puzzle to construct, yet alone write the clues for. I have nno idea how they do it. But my congratulations must go to Oyler, who entertained me this week with a numerical - which are actually my favourite puzzles. I am constantly in awe at how setters manage to make there a clear dective path to solution. So thanks very much to Oyler, and I very much look forward to reading you setter's blog.
The Listener is now the only crossword I do, and I like to savour it through the week - would be dismayed if I finished it even as early as Sunday afternoon. Looking forward to Oyler's blog, in particular I would like to know a logical way to assemble the final cube and see, or be directed to, a proof that there are only two ways to do so.
This has been alluded to above already tramart, so to repeat the hint just ask yourself the question: is it possible for opposite faces of the final cube to bear the same two digits found on the opposite faces of any of the smaller cubes ?
Bit of very last minute playing with coloured cubes on the floor this morning. Painstakingly trying combinations....until tomcat flopped on them and crushed them. Did get the answer, though, once I had extracted the bits of paper from his fur
