Just a few to solve in a charity quiz, any help or clues or answers would be appreciated. I do not have any idea of number of letters or words in the answers.

Cheesey name

Save it

A great comfort in cold weather

Swearing scavenger

Emergency aid seen differently

A shell fairy

The lady beyond the "C"

Annoying male relative

These answers are anything to do with or can be seen in a garden.

Thanks for those answers, i must admit i was thinking along the lines of hot house, or perhaps hot tub.

Periwinkle and thrift , definately sound right to me, so thanks again.

If you come up with any more that would be great.

I've just thought of another possible answer for 'a great comfort in cold weather' - Wintergreen. Apparently it's a shrub as well as an ointment.

I'm not convinced about this but could 'the lady beyond the C' be a female and flower name starting with D, eg Daisy?

I like your line of thinking on the lady one, but not entirely convinced like you that it is the right line!!!

Having thoughts that the swearing scavenger one, may be a magpie, as they are know as scavengers and they make a lot of noise, but i think that may be a bit far-fetched.

Aid seen = aniseed
Lady.... Camelia
