I was thinking (for a change), when I take my lottery ticket to be checked at the newsagents, what if it came up as the winning ticket, the newsagent could just say 'sorry love, you want me to chuck this old ticket for you', and pocket my winnings! But then I was thinking would a career move to 'Friendly local Newsagent' be a lucrative move ;-)

Smart move. You should make sure you set up your shop in either Liverpool, Birmingham or Leeds as these cities apparently boast the most winners in the UK (according to an article in Money Matters). Apparently, managers, builders and engineers are the most successful lottery players, so make sure you set uo shop in a location populated by said persons.

Cheers for the advice! I'm applying to Dillons this afternoon!
That would only work with deaf customers! The machine gives a loud beep with a winning ticket, and practically blows a raspberry at losing ones!
