I do enjoy this type of programme and, whilst I accept you only hear the bits they want you to hear, the thing that really annoyed me last night was the editing.

In a show split into four by adverts, the stories were told in 2 minute chunks with no real flow possible. Could they not have given each 'researcher' - in this case Paddy Ashdown and Helen Lederer - say 4 or 5 minutes each per 'part' to tell their story. This was most evident in Ms Lederers case as regards the fact that her relatives were victims of Nazi ghettos and concentration camps.

A good show spoilt in my opinion

I agree - I would have liked the stories to be told in a more concentrated form. They were both fascinating & chopping them up into little bits really spoiled the flow.
