The Tourists (Annie Lennox & Dave Stewart etc) entered the charts in November 1979 with I Only Want To Be With You. As rsd says, Dusty Springfield had the original hit, but that was in 1963. Barry White also did this song in 1996.

Same song, I think, but called I Only Wanna Be With You got in the charts in 1976 for The Bay City Rollers (I'm reading this, I don't know it - honest) and also for Samantha Fox in 1989
