Did anyone see Ronnie Barker in Clarence it was soo funny why do they not show it, they keep showing things over and over again that we have seen before, i think this only had 1 airing and he only done 6.

I asked this a wee while back and was told that it wasn't very popular. Well, I got the DVD to remind me - that's just been released. It's excellent and well worth the money. It's maybe not up to the standard of open all hours, but I prefer it to porridge...!


Perhaps, due to the criticism, he wouldn't allow it to be shown. It might pop up now, hopefully!

I too thought Clarence was funny. I understand that Ronnie Barker didn't like it.
It's infuriating, there are a lot of good sit comms that never see the light of day where others are on all the time. I can only assume there are contractual problems.
