Just bought a tub weighing 430 g, cost around £4 and dont want to burst open the top. But I am giving them to a class teacher and need there to be at 30 sweets, so they can get one each. Will there be enough?

Have just weighed some similar chocs and they averaged 11gm each. So, could be 38 or 39 in there.

Not if I see them first!! ;o)
You could always buy another box, open them, count them, eat them. Problem solved.

Lyn, it is thoughtful of you to buy sweets for the class. However, have you considered if some of the children might have dairy or nut allergies? I would check before you take them in. It must be disappointing to be the only one not to get any.....
i like traci's idea :)

Hi Anngel. I have taken in sweets before and always hand them to the teacher. She knows who is allowed them or not. I could not resist and opened the box yesterday - there were 45!
