Turning up = Pu
Hairs on back of skill = (skill)l Villi
Old = O

Good answer. Turning up = pu, yes; villi are indeed hairs but othing to do with the skull. Maybe skull indicates covering by old way of saying old = ol (as in ol man river) Turning this = lo hence l -villi-o. I can sleep easy now.
