There seem to be no delivery 'slot's' available today. Do they not do same day deliveries?

think it's a case of the early bird catches the worm. Almost never get same day here (same with Sainsbury's).

yes but

a there needs to be a slot free
b you need to be onthere by 6am to get it
c they will not deliver until 7 in the evening - i do it a lot if i can't be bothered to go to the shops!
