the quest

did anyone watch the quest on itv on friday night. it was produced by david jason and bacause his name was attached i was expecting to watch a fantasic programme. i was mistaken it was really bad and horribly cheesy. did anyone else agree?

I certainly agree - I watched it for the first ten minutes when it was on originally and gave up. However, when I saw it was produced by David Jason I did fear the worst. He really is an accomplished actor in his many roles but as with every other actor who turns to production fails miserably.

I enjoyed it. Has this been on before, or was it another 'episode' - thought the boys went on holiday and had their first 'romances'. I thought the younger actors were well chosen for their similarity to the older ones - especially the 'young' David Jason, his voice was uncannily accurate.

It has been on before and it's the third of three stories with the same characters. (The Quest, The Second Quest, The Final Quest) - I thought the first two were better!
