Can we have a "Where are they now" column here on AnswerBank?

Everyone knows that the Sun newspaper has a weekly "Where are they now" column to find long lost friends and relatives sometimes stretching back almost half a century. However the circulation of this paper does not compare to the members present here on the AnswerBank, and this is why I have the following suggestion to make.

I would like to suggest that we have a "Where are they now" column like in the Sun, but here on the AB site. I hope that others here agree with me, and more importantly the Editor will take me up on this sensible suggestion.

Hi dotty, I hope JonnyBoy realises that you were pointing to the Topics.

I've had to click Topics at the top of the list to find the Genealogy sub-section which is under History as the main heading.

Anyway a click on the following I hope works:-

yes dotty - to ask questions about it...not to launch a whole missing persons forum or campaign...
Good evening Fred.
I think tonyted was banned and mollykins flounced but I don't know about the others. I quite miss squarebear but mainly because other ABers used to call him SB and as some also called me that I kept thinking they were referring to me (until I read the post of course and realised I wasn't that popular). However I must admit I like the anonymity (is that a word?) of this website and would not like to change it.
I think having a where are they now is a good idea!
cupid04....I go along with you 100%.

If I were to 'snuff it' I would hope that Viv would post and tell you so. It might be a good time for her to have a few words in AB tell you that, apart from postings, I can be a real pain in the posterior. Alternatively she may speak the truth and say what a nice guy I was. !! :-)

The Ed has all our e/mail addresses and could enquire if we are OK and then advise ABers accordingly . If any of us had been banned, he would know and could tell members so.

Ron.
