poor man only the other week there was an article and photo with his famiy saying how well he felt. Unfortunately noboby actally beats cancer. i wish him well, but the family medical history is against him.

There was a time when to slip away with pneumonia was seen as better than surviving with cancer in the end stages.. I am more inclined to wish him a peaceful end than a short term recovery

Plenty of people beat cancer, Two of my grandparents beat it and had no recurrence and that was 30 years ago. So the chances are even higher now.

I hope, against all odds, that Robin improves. He sure is a fighter.

I feel so sorry for his mum, to have lost two of her four children already, and facing losing a third, that is so very cruel.

It is awful, I agree Andy. It is so cruel for a parent to lose a child (whatever the age of the child), but to lose three must be dreadful.
