70s film about girl and brother in desert???

I'm trying to remember a film. It had a young girl and her younger brother walking through a desert or similar scenario, i think it may have been the Outback. Every now and again they would sit and chat in trees. They eventually meet a young tribal boy too. Only other details I can recall is that the girl is extremely attractive and is for som reason wearing a short skirt and white tights. May have made in the late 70s but im not sure. It was a great film but i've no idea what it was called. Help!

not thinking of walkabout are u? the film with jenny agutter (who repeatedly gets nekkid) n her lil bro plus some aborigonie (sp.) kiddie who keeps popping up. think they r lost n looking 4 their parents in the outback
