Having a tape to computer copying device which has an iTunes installation disk, I notice that all my music files have now been copied onto iTunes.

But will all Audio that I download from Youtube via my Ask record audio facility, also be added to the tracks in my itunes, or will I have to copy them there?

You'd have to copy it there.

Though I can never work out why people feel the need to (illegally) download music from youtube, it's always available on youtube for you to listen to whenever you feel like it so why bother stealing it.
Your internet recording facility will probably have a preferences setup where you can specify the folder all recordings will go into. My Freecorder software allows all this sort of thing to be controlled.

I was unaware it was 'stealing'

How many people go to the necessary bother to constantly load up YouTube and search for a particular track, so that one can listen to it from time to time?

Is also copying a particular video from YouTube to a DVD disc so that one can play it via the TV, also 'stealing'?

Thank you for your answer HowardKennitby, I will check it out.
"I was unaware it was 'stealing'"

ignorantia legis neminem excusat

"How many people go to the necessary bother to constantly load up YouTube and search for a particular track, so that one can listen to it from time to time? "

I do, I've created some playlists on youtube and just go and either find the song in the playlist and play it, or just play the whole playlist. it's no different to loading Itunes so you can find the song you want and play it.

Yes. you are obtaining copyright material that you haven't got the right to own, youtube pay royalty fees for each play of a track, if you download the track you are stealing that royalty fee from the artist.
