A Legendary Scandinavian Warrior
The term berserker comes from Norse "berserkr", meaning literally "bear shirt" or "bare shirt", alluding either to wearing the "clothes" of a bear, i.e. to be bear-like in rage and strength, usually in battle, or to the habit of berserkers going into battle unarmored.Good old wikipedia tells you all about these hairy monsters

was it not a song from the Kevin Smith movie "Clerks"??

...... and here is a berserker ...........

The word is used to refer to a warrior / fighter who loses all sense of fear when in battle. They apparently have a "red mist" that comes down and they only attack. Most fighters swap between attacking and defensive moves when fighting, because they want to win but also dont want to be hurt, a berserker (or baresark) doesn't have this fear, they just "flip out"
I love this word! :-)

....... no stars for Tatty, eh ? We are on our way to have a word with you, Drusilla .......
