Agreed 5 Cluanie - tend to think of the ridge, rather than loch.
5 Cluanie - tend to think of the Inn!
That takes me back Wharton (1960s) - my Munro days are long over.
I of course think of the higher things! Not that I'm above dropping into the odd inn, you understand.
Is Earn a bit too far out for 2?

Haven't been able to confirm in Chambers, but could laid on (attacked with vigour) be extended to meaning quarrelled?
So, not very hopeful suggestion for 4 is Loch Laidon.
Last attempt.
There is a loch called An Add, again a stretch, this time for 2.
BTW, there is no Loch of the Lues, as my earlier post - I was thinking of Loch of the Lowes at St Mary's Loch in the Borders, an area I've lately become more familiar with.
