Used to love " a bit of a do" but on the whole i think old tv programmes are best left for nostalgia, they are rarely as good as you remember
the only one of those, I would say..Playing the Field, but altogether, I agree
with slinky, best left alone. Even when I've watched one from years ago, I find it not as good as I thought it was.
Clocking Off, one of the best programmes ever. I have tried to get it on dvd, but could only find one series.
Many of my "would like to see again" sit coms are now on Pay tv of some kind......to think "we" have paid once for many of these through the tv licence and now have to pay again gets right up my...mmm...er...nose :-(
Rock Follies.
Ah, "Glenn Miller Is Missing".... Happy memories.
Ooh yes, horseshoes, Rock Follies definitely.

There was also a 1970s children's programme called Ace of Wands that I loved, but I missed the last ever episode of that because my big sister insisted on watching something else. I'd love to know how it ended.
