Never happened to me yet, but I assume that you unscrew that little screw in the triangle of dots at the back of the Pin Sentry and replace the batteries.

I will watch this thread with interest.
Well, first things first. What did the branch of Barclays where you keep your account(s) say when you rang them?

Yes it happened to us,ours went off altogether,OH just went out and got new battery for it.Do not know what kind of battery.I never saw him put it in.
I'll watch too - it hasn't happened to me either - yet!
The alternative is to ask Barclays to send you a new one. Device that is - not battery. All the other banks will.
We have changed the batteries in our daughters reader before but when it went the other day we didn't have any. Tried her Barclays card in my Nat West reader and worked fine so using that now.

I have not had chance to phone them yet, my local branch was closed a long time ago but as I am going out later I will take it with me and find another branch if I can , and the log on without PIN needs a password which I didn,t set up
the battery number is on the back so I will make a note of that too

thought I would update for anyone still interested
I didn,t get anywhere with the bank but I did manage to buy a tiny screw driver and the correct batteries all from Maplins,it is such a tiny screw so I had to be very careful not to drop it and loose it,I was also quite surprised just how much the batteries cost as they were only one per card not a whole strip like watch batteries , I didn,t know that I would need 4 of them !
