How about gay pride through the ages. Dressing in 50's/60's, etc clothing? I would love to be a part of it but live too far away and have responsibilities.

Sorry for butting in again, but I would love to see someone, would have to be tall, dressed as Oscar Wilde. Imprisoned for being gay and never able to see his two sons again, I'm not surprised he died young. Broke my heart.
Are you on twitter? I'm sure if someone like Stephen Fry is not too busy, he would love to contribute ideas. Julian Clary, Simon Callow, Graham Norton, (prob very busy, I know he is filming at the moment).

Surely somebody elses ideas wouldn't hurt, they could have come from a friend or family, they'd still be from someone else. Also a famous person may help the publicity for the venture, or is that not allowed either?

Also, as a result of the Olympics they are re-releasing Chariots Of Fire.

The actor who played Eric Liddell, Ian Charleson was gay and sadly died of AIDS related illness in 1990, so it would seem fitting and poignant.

How about a rainbow wedding theme as it is politically active.... two brides two grooms bridesmaids and grooms boys in the colours of the rainbow flag

Or a sort of off the wall 'copacabana with the girls in tuxes and the boys in full carmen miranda drag
