Can anyone tell me why I need to charge them via a USB port rather than usual mains/transformer connection? I am aware that you can buy a mains-operated charger but picture suggests it is a two-pin plug. Also iternet suppliers seem to charge massive amounts compared with some UK post suppliers like "Chums"? All these things put me off trying them. Detailed guidance please. Thank you friends.

Hi solvitquick I have an electronic cigarette, you can buy a charger from the internet, but why, when you can just use you're computer, probably you are on you're computer any way so just plug it in when you are using it.
My sister bought one in our local shopping mall for £9.99. She doesn't have a computer but it came supplied with a standard 3-pin (UK) charging adapter. So, if I were you I'd shop around before diving in and buying one where you have to go to the added expense of buying a separate adapter.
I charge mine via a wall plug with a USB port, it's the one I got with my iPhone. It's a lot faster that way, there's nothing worse than waiting 3 hours for it to charge through the PC if you're gagging for a puff lol
Oh and I use e-lites they are expensive by comparison but still way cheaper than the real thing.
