DONGLE

Hi

This might sound silly but my friend has bought an iMac...upgraded from a normal laptop.
My question is she used mobile broadband (dongle) (3 mobile) on her old laptop and managed her quota fine....she has just stuck the same dongel into the new iMac....would that make adifference to the amount of data she is using or is there a specific apple internet dongle? because all of a sudden its has ran away twice with her data in the space of the last month which didn't happen before.

The only difference would be system updates and on any new computer it's likely to need a few large updates installed when you first get it.
