Get them nearly daily about my on-line account with them (which I don't have).
Yes, i get dodgy emails frequently suggesting they are fom Santander.I just delete them.
I've had a few, I believe they are scams as they are always addressed to "Dear Customer" not by name. Delete!!

Thanks. I don't have one either. Just deleted also. Anyone I can complain to should it happen again?
as far as I am aware no bank will contact you via email....trash them
I'm with Santander and they say they will never contact you by email.............
You can report them - all banks have an address for forwarding them to-but there is little or nothing the banks can do to stop it- there are just too many spammers/phishers in Eastern Europe etc . Stop one and another one appears. I get six a day in my spam box. Spelling is atrocious. They are good at spoofing the bank's address though
You can report it to
Head of the Internet
Floor 2 Ivory Towers
La La Land
Oz
I have an urge to answer all their security questions with rude words. What would happen if I gave in to this urge?
Chrissa, it would just confirm to them, you have received it, they have a correct email address and may give them access to more information that you don't want to give them. Understand the temptation but beware. Delete!!
