A car (*****head neighbour) is parked (illegally) in a disabled bay. They have intentionally (I am POSITIVE)parked my husband in. The Q is: If my husband dented their car whilst pulling out ...whose insurance would pay? surely is the illegally parked car's fault? I Will also be posting a Q regarding the illegal "lending out" of disabled bay in Legal under a seperate title. /

Ah, so it being a disabled space is really secondary to your argument and primarily it's a dispute between you and the neighbour. Have you tried talking to them?
ormal? lol

Either hit the car and pay up, knock on the door and ask or wait till they leave

Yes Zacsmaster we have tried talking in the past, (I for one an am generally in favour that everything can be solved by good communicaton and a but of give and take.. neighbour however, solves things by shouting (at times), blasting music when he is peeved with us, swearing tc...you get the pic...
Ah, a bully. Get the police involved.
I'd phone your local station. They would rather you called them than one of you snapping and blowing his car up!!
I feel sure the same regulations apply in England and Wales.:-

Ron.
if you do decide to squeeze out, id suggest gently just going forward and slowing trying to roll the car forward a bit, rather than trying to squeeze out sideways.
might not work with their handbrake on but worth the pressure on bumpers rather than corners

drives me mad when people park so close that you have to shuffle back and forth to get out...especially on a main road when you end up sticking out and blocking traffic.
