most people, like me, would say you`re very lucky ,as I`m always trying so hard to lose a few pounds. As long as there is nothing seriously wrong with you as your doc says, thats ok
If there is nothing wrong with you it is a case of using up more energy than you are taking in, so you may need to have more to eat. I wish I had your problem. I am in a sedentery job.
How long have you been working that job?

TOH - Looking underweight is on par with looking overweight.

Actually, I think being underweight invites more negative comments as people feel it's okay to comment on it.

thanks for the replies guys! i feel tired all the time and lack in energy! no matter what i eat the weight just falls off! And then (ive posted a seperate post) im covered in bruises and have swellings on both legs this week :(
I too have lost a lot of weight without trying over recent months and the Doctors have said its nothing to worry about.. but not done blood tests.
Half a stone is quite an alarming amount though! In such a short time.
Do you eat regularly or are you so busy you are forgetting to eat proper meals? Try to watch your food intake and increase it and see if you notice a difference
I think if you are worried - and you seem to be.. ask your doctor for a blood test.. they can check for thyroid and all sorts... at least it would put your mind at rest if nothing else
Im not saying that being underweight is ok, but if her doc says shes ok. We have a chef at work who is 6`7 and only weighs about 10 stone. He eats like a horse but cannot put on weight. His doc also says nothing to worry about. I think if you are fit and healthy whether o/w or u/w and you and your doc feel happy ( I presume you are happy with it ) then stop worrying
Try eating a bit more carbs but keep the fat down, sounds like you're not taking on enough fuel to keep up with the work. Don't forget your 5 a day. I used to lose 7 pounds for no reason but never worried about it just ate a bit more. A body composition scale (% fat) may be useful to make sure you're in the healthy range.
