To rhyme with queen - Im not convinced it is a specific fruit as there are several that fit the criteria - perhaps I have the rhyming word wrong ? Any help out there please ? P !!!!

The criteria is to rhyme with queen - have nine letters - and follow the clue Fruit. (not A fruit - just fruit) I know about aubergine, nectarine, tangerine and victorine as fruits, but which to choose if that is what is required. P!!!

I think I am beginning to understand - are these the new tactics of the self-appointed, self-opinionated quiz police. I always thought, foolishly it appears, that this site was used by genuine, kind and helpful people - unfortunately there are some folk who look to belittle fellow ABers. Why cant they be up front and honest. Why look at the question if they arent interested? I must say that I am quite upset about this.

Unfortunately, not all of us have the paper/quiz in front of us at the time of your post, hence we need a clue/letters to help you in your question. Generally, the AB users are helpful, normally kind people who only want to help others, and have no ulterior motives in what they post.

Pea Brain as Owllady gave you Tangerine other abers would take this to be correct as she does a lot of these quizzes. That is probably why no one else came on. Looking at the posters on your thread there is not one who I would take umbrage with.
