Giving up for Lent?

Last night Mr Frog and I were sharing a bottle of plonk and discussing whether we should give up alcohol for Lent. (Don't worry, that was just the drink talking.)

Is anyone thinking of giving up anything? And how long do you think you'll hold out?

I'm giving up coffee... (had to be realistic) however the signs are showing already... Gawd help my family :-)

as lent is a religious thing I wont be doing anything, that included pancake day

Arksided - giving up coffee is probably a tough one. Good luck with that. And my deepest sympathy to your nearest and dearest. Can't help thinking that relationship counsellors probably do a roaring trade at this time of year!

I am giving up Chocolate
But, like I say every year - Sundays are not counted
40 days and 40 nights
Its handy because Mothers Day falls in Lent so you can eat all your dairy milk in one day
I am also giving up all alcohol too - and I consider Sunday to be sunset Saturday to sunset Sunday so I can still get drunk Saturday night
