What is the method of cooking called where they put it in plastic bags (New)its someting like sooveh? I think and hope, any help please

Hello Carol - it is sous-vide - 'under vacuum'.
thats the 'posh' term.........it was always 'boil in the bag' when I was younger.
lol exactly. It was gravy when I was a kid now it is "jus".

Why do they say "oven baked" as well? How else would you bake it? You wouldn't say a sandwich was "knife-cut".
