My friend Debbie and her husband have been invited to a 2 week trip to Florida,with his parents.His brother and family have also been invited.Neither of them want to go....as all round relationships would not be able to stand it,and it would lead to a terrible time.Her husband doesnt want to hurt his parents..so what would you say.???
Yuc...I hate such family crap....but we all know it exists!

I think that he is being predictabley ''wimpish'' about facing his parents...and wants to pass the buck...I quote my friend next:
''I have tried to get Jon to tell his mum that no-one wants to go away for such a long time together, and no-one wants to go to Florida. Even though Jon agrees this is the case, he is stalling, and so is Pat, and so it will all have to come out at the weekend.''
I think I would insist it!
