It's getting most annoying.. He's 6 months old.. The strange thing is, he only ever does it to me, never my other half? He's the most spoilt kitten ever and completely showered with love.. Clean litter every day, fed the same food as always.. I'm completely dumbfounded. I'm contemplating taking him to the vets but I question that because he only does it with me! Please help!

You have answered the question yourself.

He is spoilt and wants more attention, I used to have one that did that all the time, my current girls do it to they will be quiet if i am out of the house but the minute I walk through the door they are crying and peeking and generally a pain - hubby says they sense me coming home and start getting antsi!!

you need to let...

If he is fed, his litter is clean and he not in any obvious distress then ignore him. Some cats are more vocal than others.
You've answered your own question - you spoil it.
Mines the same...

He's probably not really moaning. We can understand different meows now.
From experience I can tell you that screaming at them doesn't help and they WILL win in the end unless, as redhelen says, you start as you mean to go on. Give in to the demands now and you will be enslaved for life.
if he's eating and drinking and goign to the loo

then i'd say nothign is wrong he just wants attention, murph chats to me for hours

I suppose that makes sense.. He's too cute not to spoil though lol. Just got worried about him is all :/
My cat is 5 now and meows all the time just for attention. I also had a part Siamese they meow a lot.
Indi meows alot, I just put it down to the fact she just likes being noisy. If she's not meowing, shes chirping, or more worryingly, growling.
oh, and she snores too.
You are surrogate mothers...kittens and mums communicate all the time... problem is domestic cats stay in kitten mode as they don't need to grow up so carry on vocalising.... Maine Coons are very vocal but not as bad as the orientals and crosses... had a part Aby... she was a complete gobby cat.. never shut up warbles chirps, meows, clicks you do get to understand the different sounds eventually
also, if he is not speyed, he may be coming into season. just checking and throwing in an idea! x
