Hi all. Really needing your help on this one, I have a friend who will be visiting the area this weekend and staying at hotel in the Swanley (Kent) area. He is in wheelchair (severly disabled) and needs a cab service that will be able to take him in his wheelchair from Swanley to Gravesend/and return on Sunday. Any ideas where I can find a cab/taxi service who has wheelchair access, he has phoned a few but cannot find one at this time this is able to take him. Is there a website or something I can access to help him? Appreciate your help.

If you try this site and scroll down to disabled there is one listed for swanley.
Try phoning your local authority as they are responsible for taxi licencing and often have quotas for accessible cabs - I know there are loads in my area as the council have a high quota requirement. They may be able to provide details of which companies have such cabs.

Very grateful for your help, both of you. I will be passing the numbers to my friend for Sunday... thank you :)
Just a point Mustang, If it's a normal Black Cab make sure it has Hooking points for the wheel chair, a lot do not but rely on the person that is with the wheelchair user to hold the chair.
