At the surgery this morning I was talking to my GP and MEANT to say "post-operative". Why on earth did I say "post-coital"?

That's hilarious Mrs O - when I was 14 I was trying to describe a lurex dress, and said durex instead! Awkward moment.
When I had my hair cut once the young hairdresser asked me if I wanted a ***. I assumed that she meant 'blow dry' but subsequent events made me suspect otherwise...
When I was a teenager one of my mates thought he had 'durex' gears on his bike instead of 'derailleur'

All my hairdressers have been as camp as a row of tents :-(

Jomifl I actually asked the hairdresser for a blow *** instead of a blowdry once. I also told someone I was going for an autopsy - I meant biopsy!

Loads of times when I was a saturday girl in the hairdressers when the new method of styling was really just coming in there would be customers either wanting a B J or telling me don't book me in for one of those BJ thingies I like it done properly,,,
