Just an update to a question about overheating laptops i asked a few weeks back.

I bought a few packs of rubbers (erasers) glued them into 4 blocks of about 1-2"x 1-2" and put them on my desk/tray, one in each corner.

they stick so well they don't actually need to be attached - they hold it really steady, and they can't topple as they are cubes.

obviously the lap top still gets warm but nowhere near as much.

Letting air into the systen will help. Buy a can of compressed air, and blow out the fan, in the direction of the fan of course. Many laptops get bunged up with dust after about six months and need a good blowout.

It really works
