I can see it is an anagram, but can't see what stalactite has to do with lactation?
Nothing at all "it lactates" are the letters of the anagram
Yes, but in my experience anagram clues also include a definition of the answer- and I can't see one here

A bit obscure, this one.
is it a double meaning..anagram is also literal meaning of Greek..Stalactite..to drip...to lactate..produce milk/drip?
