Jocasta complex = mother > son and Lear complex = father > daughter...the former from Greek myth and the latter from Shakespearean drama.

the oedipus and electra complex is theorised by psychoanalysts to occur as a normal developmental process. Mother or father attraction to their child is considered abnormal so there are no real terms for it.

paedophilia is just for children, related or not. Freud took the terms Oedipus and Electra from Greek mythology to cover the feelings his clients had for their parents, which he saw as elements in their subconscious dating from their early years. I don't suppose feelings for children would be problematic in the same way, so I doubt that they have 'complexes'. Just incest.
ooops, crossed with QM. He's right, I'm wrong (as ever).
quizmonster, what if a mother has a fixation on her daughter, or a father on his son?
How about an "inverse Jocasta complex" and an "inverse Lear complex", ma'am?
I do not know whether these terms are actually used in psychiatry, you understand, but merely suggest them as possibilities.
There is an all-inclusive term for such sexual oddities and that is "paraphilia". Let's just settle for that, eh, or we'll be into "What do you call an uncontrollable lust for your granny's sister?"
