Can I pay the renewal fee by debit card at the post office or do I have to put a cheque in with the forms?

think you should be able to pay with your debit card at the post office 4get, if not you can withdraw the cash there and pay that way.........
Hi again!

You pay by plastic at the post office:

You can get both the renewal check, photo & payment through your debit card at various PO, check on the http://www.direct.gov...information/DG_174154

yes I had read the links but was a bit confused about whether the £8.00 odd for using check and send was able to be paid by card and the rest had to be put in envelope. I just dont want it to be sent and then get a call saying no fee was put in as it says on envelope check list make sure correct fee is included
Don't worry - you just pay the whole fee from your debit card. If you wish :-)

I'd rather do that, I guess I'll try and find my cheque book to take with me just in case
Cheques aren't accepted at post offices, 4getmenot. (See my link)

well thats just silly lol
Since the cheque guarantee card with withdrawn last year you'll find many places now no longer accept cheques. However, if you were paying your car tax or a bill at the Post Office you could pay by cheque. I think this is because it is easy to trace you if the cheque is returned unpaid.
