Two tone 5p coin...

It's only half silvered. The other side is copperish colour. Has it any value? Apart from its face value of 5p, I mean.

Has the other side got dirty, e.g. sitting in tea or a stain of some sort?

No. It's clearly not been properly dipped in the silver coloured coating.
Sounds as if somebody has been playing with it - in copper sulphate solution, for example. Did it many years ago.
sandy - they are "coated" with a silver colour. They are silvery all the way through.
...NOT coated....!

It's not going to be as valuable as a 1933 penny, then? :-(
The first decimal coins were circulated in 1968. These were the five pence (5p) and ten pence (10p), and had values of one shilling (1/-) and two shillings (2/-), respectively, under the pre-decimal £sd system. The decimal coins are minted in copper-plated steel (previously bronze), nickel-plated steel, cupro-nickel and nickel-brass. The two-pound coin is bimetallic.
