considering he's been off sick for months, he'd be pushing his luck to say he'd earned a bonus. In fact he'd be pushing his luck to say he'd earned his regular pay.

Stephen Hester is due for a huge fat bonus even though he manages RBS and has just sacked 1500 workers.

I believe some get their bonuses just for trimming the work force.
