Hi,

My Westie has had on on off ear problems. 12 months ago we were prescribed "Aurizon" which is, for her, like a magic cure.

Her problem is back, and we are struggling to find the money to go back to the vet. (they won't prescribe again without seeing her, I know). That visit alone will cost £30 which we do not have. (I should add that our baby has wiped out our savings with a pyometra op and ear washes last year!)

I can see they sell it online but need a prescription..........anyone know of a site where I can get this without a prescription?

What's that firewatch? I haven't heard of it?
Have you tried looking on the internet for her medication. My labrador has to take rimadryl twice a day and for 60 tablets the vet charges £36 and I can buy the same tablets on the net for £18, so serach around.

Just checked Anneho, and they need a prescription for Aurizon. It's frustrating as I know that this is the same problem, but can't get help without another very expensive visit to the vet.
Try something called Thornit. It is a powder which is made specially for ears and you just use a pinch in each ear. Because its dry it clings to any grot and when she shakes any muck comes out. It is also good for ear mites and minor infections. You can buy it online without a prescription.
My westie had sore ears too we used a sort of gel drops from the vet ill try to find the name...

Pdsa help people who cant afford vet bills- google them and see if its any help to you xxx
